Indonesian Journal of Special Educational Needs (I-JOURSEN) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality research, innovative practices, and critical studies in the field of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Inclusive Education.

I-JOURSEN aims to provide a scientific platform for researchers, educators, practitioners, psychologists, therapists, and policymakers to share knowledge, empirical findings, and theoretical insights related to education for individuals with diverse abilities and special needs across all educational levels.

The journal welcomes original research articles, review papers, case studies, and best practice reports that contribute to the advancement of evidence-based practices and inclusive educational systems, particularly within the Indonesian context while maintaining a global perspective.

The journal applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic rigor, objectivity, and ethical integrity. All accepted articles are published under an open-access policy, allowing unrestricted access to readers worldwide in order to promote the global exchange of knowledge without barriers.

Starting in 2026, Indonesian Journal of Special Educational Needs (I-JOURSEN) is published twice a year, with issues released in February and August. The journal welcomes submissions from national and international authors and is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
