Studi Pemilihan Inverter pada Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya untuk Kebutuhan Daya Setara 450VA

Abstract
Inverter is equipment that can convert direct electric current (DC) into alternating electric current (AC) as needed. However, most people experience difficulties in determining which inverter to use. The purpose of this study is to determine the efficiency values of 3 types of inverters so that it can make it easier for users to choose an inverter. The method used in this study uses a quantitative method, from the data obtained using a DC & AC wattmeter meter, then the efficiency value of each type of inverter is calculated. Furthermore, the data is presented in the form of tables and graphs. Based on a comparison of the three types of inverters, the measurement results show that inverter C has an average output voltage of 217.30V and an efficiency of 85%, this value is higher than inverter A with an average output voltage of 208.10V with an efficiency of 79%. and inverter B with an average output voltage of 92.07V and an efficiency of 11%. Based on the results of this analysis, it can be concluded that type C inverter is the best and recommended compared to type A inverter and type B inverter.
