PENGARUH MEDIA SOSIAL TERHADAP PERUBAHAN BAHASA: ANALISIS SOSIOLINGUISTIK PADA GAYA BAHASA DALAM POSTINGAN DI TWITTER
Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas dampak media sosial, khususnya Twitter, terhadap perubahan bahasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk menganalisis perubahan bahasa dalam postingan Twitter. Hasilnya menunjukkan penggunaan singkatan, bahasa slang, istilah khas media sosial, pemendekatan kata, penggunaan hastag, dan gaya bahasa ponsel, serta dampaknya pada struktur dan kosakata bahasa. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa media sosial memiliki dampak signifikan pada perubahan bahasa dan analisis sosiolinguistik dapat memberikan wawasan tentang dinamika perubahan bahasa akibat pengaruh media sosial

ABSTRACT
the impact of social media, particularly Twitter, on language change.
The study found that social media has led to changes in language,
including the use of abbreviations, slang, social media-specific
terms, shortened words, hashtags, and language style commonly
used in mobile phones. The study used a qualitative descriptive
method to analyze language changes in Twitter posts. The results
showed that language variation in social media not only reflects
changes in communication style but also affects the structure and
vocabulary of language itself. The study concludes that social media
has a significant impact on language change and that sociolinguistic
analysis can provide insights into the dynamics of language change.
